Guess this weekend I will have to clear some of the plants out. Anyone in my area that wants floaters and such is welcome to come by and get them. Otherwise it's the compost pile. .

Loretta...I did the same thing last week...throwing extra lily pad, etc out in the yard as I worked around the pond...my hubby came home and said it looked like a tornado had come through !

lol I know them doggone floaters triple in volume everyday it seems. The pond is chrystal clear though. Now if my tropicals would start earning their keep I would be thrilled.

Thanks Dixie, I love that name. How did a gal from Pa get a good southern name like Dixie? lol

Loretta, I have no idea, I am sure at the time I was born my parents had not traveled outside of the county. Dixie Thanks.

Loretta, your pond looks just beautiful! And yes, with it hot like it is, those floaters really go to town. Fortunately, Gardenergail lives about 15 miles from me. And this weekend we're installing her first pond. So you know where I'm gonna be dumping my extra pond plants! Can't wait!
