That's a lovely bloom! I have a feeling that you and I are going to come up with any number of seeds we can trade for the next growing season.... would you be willing to hold a few seeds for me? I'm thinking I should put your name on a BE and add seeds to it as I figure out what I have and what you'd like, and maybe you could do likewise? That just seems easier to me than sending off a bunch of envelopes with 1 or 2 kinds of seed. LMK what you think.
I have a number of different sunflower seeds left over from 2004 -- perhaps no more than 4 or 5 seeds of a given kind, depending, but I'll share what I have if you're interested. The sunflower patch just didn't happen this year, except for some seeds the birds planted for me, or I'd have more seeds by fall. I also have fresh columbine seed, purple lupine, bergenia, and others... the collecting season is just starting here!

I have 12 seeds of dwarf teddy bear sunflower that I will trade you for 12 moulin rouge, or 3 or 4 different morning glory, wild flower mix (babys breath, cornflower, crimson clover, siberian wallflower, evening primrose candytuft), double bachelors button, dianthus mixed white to pink, royal mixed sweet peas.
