I have hummer feeders every year, fill them about every 3 days.
Right now, the hummers hover around the feeder like a swarm of bees, maybe a dozen at a time. I fill the feeder 2X a day. (Granted, the capacity is small.)
Either I have the only feeder for miles around, or something is amiss. Any clues?

Are you complaining? I would love to have all those hummers. You must live where there is little else for them to eat. If I get more then one bird in my yard they chase each other away. It has been a strange year for hummers. Some not seeing many and some getting more then normal. Lucky You!
I may seem lucky but I'm wondering if there is any problem with the hummers, and this unusual behavior.
