questions on amber rose

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

I thought amber rose was suppose to be a peachy rose color, someone please correct me,

these pictures are taken day 2 of the flowers opening, one of the flowers has some pink showing, wondering if it takes a few days for them to turn color. I'll be watching them, but I was hoping for a diff color on it.

Here's the flower that's turning color, or has some pinkish coloring to it.

Never mind, I found the information for this one, and it's definitely suppose to be this color, LOL should have checked that first.

YES, Yes, yes!!! I can see her beginning to pink up!!

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

Yes, cool isn't it, look at these three flowers today, their all turning peachy color now, neat how it takes a few days. I bought this one right before I had my heartattack last november, got it as cuttings . As a matter of a fact, they came in the mail when I was still in the hospital, and my daughter potted them up for me and labeled them too.

Just Wow Kathy!!!

Oh yes, I forgot for some of us who love fragrant brugs, This is a beauty but has absolutely no scent what so ever, boo hoo! I just love those fragrant brugs, maybe it was fragrant the first day, I didn't get to get a whif of it then. Its a good long lasting flower though. usually day three and their all shrivled and falling off.

You smelled of it during the day or night? It's the moth's in the evening that it starts to smell YUMMY for, cos' it's trying to lure the moth to it :-) Sounds like you got a winner Kathy!

So what sound or emotion came out of your mouth when you stuck your nose in that flower and discovered a fragrance? Probably something similar to what you'll say when you pull out a jacket for the first time this fall and find a crumpled 20 dollar bill in the pocket. WOOT!!
