I just went back to the website and isnt this the stuff that monika said was good for the soil?..Heres what it says.....

AdzsumPlus™ is a patent-pending blend of montmorillonite clay, paramagnetically-charged basalt rock, and other proprietary ingredients. It is the montmorillonite clay, derived from a natural volcanic deposit in Utah, that contains the wealth of micronutrients - over 67 metabolically active minerals and trace elements. Once plentiful in the soil, these naturally occurring minerals and trace elements have slowly leached away over time, accelerated in the past century due to erosion, acid rain and chemical agriculture. AdzsumPlus™ replaces those lost minerals in the soil and when combined with compost, acts as a catalyst to help plants better absorb them. The results are similar to a multivitamin pill for humans - increased vigor, a stronger immune system and improved health.

Judy, I had checked for distrubutors listed in the west Michigan area on the website and all of them told me that didn't carry this product. Where did you purchase it? I would to purchase some...Kathy

Muskegon, MI(Zone 5a)

Kathy, I bought it at Ole Henrys on Broadway...near the comcast building....I bought a big bag of it which looks like maybe 20 pounds for around 24.00......I see a big differents in my maya...Judy

Fruitport, MI(Zone 5a)

Judy, I called there today and the gentleman that answered said that they did not carry it. Did you notice how many bags they had left? I doubt it is a big seller...Kathy

Muskegon, MI(Zone 5a)

Kathy, yes they do since they had about 5 or 6 bags left and no they didnt sell it very fast...call them again and tell them the spelling of it..they probably didnt realize what you were saying....tell them its in the back room on the floor with all the fertilizers...a whte large bag....tell them its from a city up north...cant remember the family who manufactors it..or just take a ride over there....Judy

Judy, I got out of work a little early today and I got to Ole Henry's before they closed. I picked up a bag. What do you know. They did, in fact, have some still in stock. During my search for Adsumplus, I found that Azomite was easier to locate. It's about 1/2 the price also. Its $20 a 44 lb bag. I have a couple of identical plants and I think that I'm going to do a comparison I want to see if there is a difference in plant performance between the two. If no difference is found, I believe that I'll stick to the azomite. I couldn't find the azomite in the powder form though, only the grandular. I can't wait to see the improvement on my plants. I just wish that I heard of this in the spring. How long before you could see improved growth and performance? Kathy

I really want to know if the AdzsumPlus™ is the same as the Azomite. Kathy, do they look the same? Rj made it seem like the AdzsumPlus™ made the soil hold the water so it would dry out slower.

I got my Azomite today but I am too tired to struggle with it, it is so heavy. I will check it out tomorrow. My husband could not believe I paid to have 44 pounds of dust to be sent all the way to California. I fear he is keeping track of all the brug related things I do so when he decides to have me committed he will be all prepared.

Kell, the adzumplus looks just like a fine powder...I have to say that this company must not want people to buy their product with all the people wanting info and ording of this product and nobody will answer the phone or send back emails...I know a gal here in Muskegon called the place I got mine at and they told her they didnt have any...thats silly since they had over 6 huge bags of it when I bought mine and Im sure as slow as they have been that they didnt get rid of the other bags....oh well at least I got some in town without paying shipping...Judy

Kell you crack me up with your quote "My husband could not believe I paid to have 44 pounds of dust to be sent all the way to California. I fear he is keeping track of all the brug related things I do so when he decides to have me committed he will be all prepared"

By the way, Kell, how do I do that cool blue quote box I see in some of the threads?

I really, really think all AZOMITE and ADZUMPLUS are the same thing. Mine (the AZOMITE) bought on ebay is a fine powder. It sticks to the measuring spoon like fine powdered sugar does on a baking spoon). It too, is supposed to help the soil hold water, but more importantly it adds oxygen to the root zone so it is excellent to put on plants that are in soggy waterlogged soil as somehow it helps the oxygen get through the soil to the roots. (don't ask me how).

Been following this thrread with great interest, and............

I've spoken to a representative of AdzumPlus here in Florida, and he tells me that Azomite is the same thing; however, AdzumPlus has three more ingredients than Azomite.

Because we were on the phone so long, I wasn't able to ask him which ingredients he was referring to, but I'm sure that one of the websites would show which three they are.

I was able to ask him if Azomite would be beneficial for Florida soil, and he resounded a definite yes. I also told him I was a Brug enthusiast, and he agreed that using Azomite would benefit greatly for all things green.

So, as soon as he returns my e mail with any information, I will post it here.

O and btw, I was lucky to get to him cause that number is no longer available.........boy, was that timing!!!
