Blooms from my "Texas Fiesta"

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Finally, I got some blooms from my "Texas Fiesta" to share. The tree is over 6 foot tall and I had to hold the camera over the top of it to capture the blooms. I hope you enjoy!

Beautiful, Randy! How's the fragrance? I'm a big fragrance buff so I always ask about it. It's amazing how some flowers can smell like classic plumeria and some like peaches and some like gardenias. I think that's why I like plumerias so much: the color and scent can vary with each flower.

Hey guys/gals! Thanks so much!!
Clare the smell isn't real, real strong but it smells really sweet. The fragrance is most noticeable in the flowers that are in the process of opening. The older flowers don't really have much of a smell left.
This was my first plumeria and was given to me by a close friend, whose no longer with us.
It's my only plumeria that I closely guard!!! I've seen some at Teas Nursery, like Roger said.

Thanks, Randy, for the info about the fragrance. I just love how plants that are gifts remind us of the person who made the gift. Sharing one's plants is a great way to be remembered. I don't blame you for guarding it closely.

That's really beautiful Randy.
