monkey flowers

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

My monkey flowers are doing great this year. They are really loving all the rain we have been getting.

Lisa, these are beautiful, you have to save me some seeds.

I have never seen seeds, however, they grow from little bitty tubers. Last year, I had plenty to share. I am sure I will be able to send you a couple.

Thanks Lisa.

I have not seen anything called Monkey flowers around here. they look sorta like Miexican petunia, only bigger. But the foliage does not look the same. Neat looking flower.

That's is gorgeous! The flowers are huge! I wonder if a itty bitty tuber will come my way.

Sorry all. I had this one mislabeled. It is a hot water plant, or Achimenes longiflora. Here is in in white.

Those purple ones look huge. Is that a vine?? I wouldn't mind some of your little tubers?? Is it perennial--in zone 7/8 upstate SC?? Thanks!! Very nice--even if it turns out to be something I can only enjoy looking at here!!

They are also called monkey plant, so they weren't mislabeled, lol. I used to have bunches and bunches of those but some kind of fungus killed them all in one summer.
