Ive got many voodoo lilies(amorphophallus, and typhonium) this year that I really want to get some good bulb growth. Our weather, starting off the summer, was cool and wet and im sure these tropicals guys didnt like it one bit. So, Im trying to make up for lost time. I have been using miracle grow 15/30/15 once a week to every two weeks... Does anyone else know a good way to give these guys a big boost before I lift the bulbs this fall ? compost tea ? seaweed fertilizer? Bat Guano ? voodoo priest, three dead chickens and a lock of my mothers hair?
Any suggestions or tips for getting big time bulb growth would be appreciated !!

How to get big time bulb growth before fall??
As a general rule, you want to feed bulbs Bone Meal, and in some cases, Blood meal works nicely as well. I actually buy both, and mix them up in a 2-1 ratio, bone/blood. All of my bulbs do pretty well on that, although I haven't tried Lillies for a while... until recently, I've lived in "deer-hell", and the little buggers liked to nibble to buds off of my lillies. It kind of soured me on them. Maybe next year.... (unless the racoons take to them, then I'm screwed!)
