What bulbs do well in DFW area?

I'm new to the area and wanted to try some fall bulbs. I was thinking of crocus, snowdrops, daffodils and maybe star flower. I'm tempted to place a large order but would prefer to get some feedback on how some of these fall bulbs handle the heat of summer. Does anyone have any feedback on how your typical fall bulbs do here? Thanks!
