My variegated present

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

A dear friend dropped by and brought me two brugs as a special "pick me up" gift. Wow, was I surprised as well as thrilled!! You bet I made room for them immediately LOL
Not sure of the variety here, tag said brugmansia x candida "variegata.'
They are very healthy, with teeny tiny buds at the top. Let's see if I can get them to bloom, hehehe.
I just wanted to share my excitement with you guys!

Thanks Judy,! things have been difficult this summer for alot of reasons. I've been very sad. Most recently, my dear cousin lost her fight with leukemia at 53. Very hard on my family, and on me. I take such comfort from my garden.

I am so sorry Jackie for your loss. Your cousin was too young to die. Death is such a hard time.

Jackie, I was going to post you, I've missed you and wondered what was up. I am so sorry about your cousin, the loss of those we love is difficult, there is never a right time, and the loneliness is often overwhelming and strikes when you least expect it - and, yes, gardening helps the soul, I call it a welcomed diversion. Your friend's tribute to the loss of your cousin is beautiful and arranged so nicely, with a lovely variety. It's good to see you back and I cannot wait to see your new brug bloom...

Thanks so much Kell, Jules and Sherry, I really appreciate the kind words, more than any of my words can express.
And I thank you too, for liking the arrangement....I actually put them together. When she brought the brug, picture this, I dug out the previous tenant on the spot, a hosta, and replaced it with the newest brug of honor! Don't worry, I gave her the hosta for her yard. LOL
Maybe when (and if) she blooms, one of you can ID it for me.
Til then, I'll call her Sally after my cousin.

Awwwwwwwww how sweet Jackie, a perfect name :-) That was really sweet of you to give her the hosta that resided in the pot to begin with, I know she appreciated it coming from you! And you don't have to thank me, I meant every word of what I said. Blessings my friend.

Hugs

Jules ~ You rock.
Thank you also, Twyla, for the kind words, and I'm sorry about your brother-in-law. May I say that I wish we could all go peacefully too.
