I bought this in March as Citrine. According to what I've been able to find the pad parent of Citrine is Bert and the pollen parent is Amarillo Paja. The flower is supposed to look like a slightly darker version of Jessie Noel, that is, a golden yellow. This is what I got. What happened? Is it possible for a regular corolla to shred like this? The fragrance is heavy and delicious. Please don't look at the foliage. The grasshoppers around here have been chewing on everything.

Citrine?
We've got a Shredded White, now a Shredded Yellow, how cool is this!!! Great Job Veronica!
I think she is fantastic, I LOVE her!!! I would be very interested in a cutting this fall, if you are permitted to share her - she is really my type and you have done a super job, WOW!!!
Her name is a perfect compliment to her color! Well done!!

Oh, Wow - what a beautiful color! I think it's great. I'd love to trade you for a cutting this fall if you can and wish to. Just let me know and I'll list everything I have.

Carol
How would I find out if I can't share cuttings. Although, right now she is just 2 long stalks with short "Y's."

It will be interesting to see if this holds it flowers like this. It is different. LOL!! I want it in pink!
I keep looking at the photo...outstanding. I have the Shredded White and yours is to die for!!!
Carol
That is cool looking! Pink would definitely be beautiful! And orange too. How about rainbow? :)
BettyDee if you purchased the plant and it does not have a patent on it then you are free to do with it as you wish.
I think that is gorgeous. In the fall if you have an extra cutting and want to share please put me on your list. I would be thrilled to won this brug.
Meeeeeeeeeee too please!
Hugs

Betty, I'm new and do not know all the hybridizer rules & regs, but I am trialing seeds and cuttings for friends. They are considering registering their brugs, and the agreement is that I do not give cuttings or seeds to anyone, until the decision is made with regard to registering or not registering the brug, and, then, only if the hybridizer gives me the okay. I also have seeds and cuttings from others, who did not mention trialing to me; however, prior to giving away cuttings, I will check with the grower(s) in the event they might want a cutting. I just read your first post again and see that you purchased your cutting. As far as I know you are not obligated and can give away what ever you like. I surely hope that is the case and I know I will be corrected if I am not correct. Good luck, I hope she grows into a giant, so we can all have cuttings, lol!!!!!

Gorgeous !! Beautiful color and shape!!! I would LOVE a cutting also, if you have enough to share. If not this year, then next ??
I too wonder if it will stay, l be looking for the next flush.
I believe Alice has one very similar to that called (Ribbons?), doesn't she?
Even if the next flush didn't shred it's a nice bright color. I'm not into the shreded types myself, but the color is nice and you say it smells good, so I'd guess she's a keeper.
Congratulations
If you bought it, you can trade it. If you're "testing" or trialling a cutting for someone, you can't. This one sounds like fair game ;)
Sometimes changing weather can do odd things to blooms; my creamsickle has been known to have all her inner skirts shredded, and once kell, butterfly decided to shred a bit. Or your cutting may have been a true sport, and it will stay this way! If so, I'd love to jump on this band wagon of brug beggars?!! I like them shredded! Or sliced, doubled, tripeled.....
