Tropical Hibiscus, Mites & Neem Oil???

I'm having a wonderful experience with mites the last week or so. Geez....I really hate these things. I just got out the Neem Oil and as I was reading instructions/info......on the back it says not to use on 'some roses' and 'some hibiscus'! Hmmmm, does anyone know what that means and which hibiscus NOT to use them on? LOLOL Any help with spider mites will be greatly appreciated. What is everyone else using? And is anyone else having mite problems? A few of my brugs and a few of my tropical hibiscus are being attacked.
