Hello from another newbie!

Hi! I've come across Dave's Garden so many times lately when I've Googled for gardening advice and found such great help from the posts here that I couldn't resist joining in! I'm a homeschooling mom of six (ages 16 years down to 21 months, four boys and two girls) in the Willamette Valley, Oregon. I've always loved gardening and have never had as much garden space as I wanted until we moved to a more rural area this past spring. I finally have room for a nice vegetable patch as well as my flowers with plenty of space leftover for the children to play without stepping on my plants (too often :) too! I'm looking forward to learning from all of you.

I'm grandmother to a bunch of homeschoolers, the youngest of which are now in college, and just over the last few years have been learning about flowers. I always grew veggies to feed my family. I lived in Crescent City for a while and would live there again if I could. You are blessed to be where you are. Welcome to Dave's Garden.

Wow being busy was going to be my excuse for being late with my welcome but 6 kids and home schooling and gardening whew get tired just thinking about it.
