I was at WalMart (Vista) yesterday and they had plumerias for $10. All the same pot size -- maybe 8 inches? -- but some were quite tall and just full of leaves.
We're in 'no-spend' mode here or I would have grabbed one. Actually, I had one in my paws, but guilt kicked in. LOL

LOL, Kathleen! You've got to learn to ignore that guilt! LOL!
Well, I do -- a lot, actually -- but I had just reminded my DH the day before, so that prevented me from breaking the rule. We've got a sick parrot and the vet bills are going to pile up. :-(
Oh, it was hard, though!!!
I'm so sorry about your parrot:-( Your a good parrot mommy. Pets always come first before plants.
Thanks, Clare. Poor little girl has a very puny immune system, it seems. Scary thing is parrots show no outward signs of disease until they're really, really sick. We only found out because of her routine check-up. So now it's shots and drops and lots of sunshine and fresh air.
Poor little thing. I hope she recovers quickly. Brad (ncasselberryfla) is a new member here, and he love parrots and plumerias too. I think he has an African Grey? He knows a lot about both parrots and plumerias! Maybe he will see this thread and share some of his parrot pictures and stories.
Awe, what a pretty baby:-)
kaperc...nice Chaco bluefront.I use to raise parrots, had 150 at one time...what a noisy house!! 13 macaw breeders in the basement. I feel your pain on the vet bills. :-)
150 would be noisy, but the 13 macaws would make you deaf so you wouldn't hear the rest!
Ms P (aka Princess) is perking up. She hardly flinches at the injections anymore -- it's the nose drops she really hates. We took out an insurance policy just prior to this -- had been meaning to do it for several years, anyway. It will be interesting to see how much it helps.
