How pretty Heather! Does it have a name?

Hmmm, how about "Lowe's Special Mark-Down Of The Day"? LOL

It's such a shame that they can't tag their plants better. In any case it still makes me smile. :)

Looks like "Mystic Pink"

Thank you, Eclipse, I'll look into that!

heathrjoy--Well.....please let it make seeds. I would LOVE to grow this one!!! You just leave the blossom alone when it finishs--the seed pod will form behind where the blossom was and get pretty big most likely. Wait till it turns tan--often they might open before you catch them. Usually LOTS of small seeds inside--sometimes hairy looking, sometimes not. Thanks!!

LOL Bonnie, you cracked me up. Next bloom I get will go to seed, just for you! Can these be started from cuttings? Let me know.

Thank you everyone for your compliments. These are on sale at Lowe's for $3 (at mine anyway). Just picked up a salmon colored one to go w/ this pink and the yellow one I got earlier. It seems so much smaller than the ones I've had for a month or so tho.

If I can do cuttings I'll get them started asap and let you know how they're doing. Just point me in the right direction.

$3!!!! WOW!! Wish I could find ANYTHING for a mere $3 here!! hehehe Almost everything I have I got trading here!!! REALLY!! And most of them are things I never heard of until I saw them here!! I LOVE this site!! Only place I HAVE to go to EVERY single day I can!! Bonnie

Bonnie,
My yellow bloomed this morning. A JB hit it before it even opened, that's why the little hole. Nasty things.

Do you like this one too? I could save some seed from it for you too. The salmon colored one I just got doesn't even have any buds on it, but I'm hoping once I repot it into some nice soil and a bigger pot it'll take off nice like the others did.

I'm going to look around and see if I can start these from cuttings. If I can I'll get one of each started for you. The Lowe's tag says they are hardy to 40 deg. So, would they be hardy in your zone? I have to bring them in for the winter.

Isn't this fun??????? LOL
Here's the yellow

Ok, I had some time to id two of the three Hibiscus I have.
I actually found tags in two of them. What do you know??

The pink is Whirl Wind (although Mystic Pink was a good call). Here is the info on it http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/48369/index.html

The orange one I have that hasn't bloomed yet is Carolina Breeze and it's info is here http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/63712/index.html

Now I'm off to search for the yellow and red one. Wish me luck! :)

They are all gorgeous! I wonder if they would grow true from seeds.

Thank you Donna. I have an idea we'll see if they'll grow true from seed!

The yellow one is Sunny Wind and it's info is at http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/102796/index.html

I'm going to try some cuttings. I've read they take about a month to root, we'll see how it goes.
