Lemon Slice
I LOVE it too - Winnie
Winnie that is beautiful!
Thanks ! It is the first yellow I have had.
Winnie
Mine looks just like that - but my seeds were named Manihot. Anyone know which it is?
Heather
That is a beautiful hibiscus! Is it a tropical or perennial? I have many perennial varieties and would to do a seed trade if anyone is interested.
Kathy
I believe for our zone 5 it is grown as an annual ...

I've seen posts on other threads for a swamp hibiscus. Is this the same plant?

We have quite a few in plantfiles with swamp malow in the name - but I personally think swamp mallow is a common name for ones we see on the sides of roads and in fields ect. Kindof like the common daylily is called a ditch lily.
Heather
We don't see anything like those on the side of our roads. I wish we did. I'd get my handy dandy shovel out of the trunk of my car and dig myself a few. I'm always prepared with shovel and pots! My husband laughs at me, but I'm sure that I'm not the only one that does that.
no you're not! LOL!! I keep a trowel in the back seat pocket!LOL!!!!
I may have seeds for SASBE later.
