I've had a few blooms here and there, but this is Creamsickle's first flush — all doubles. I had to stick my nose near the corolla to smell the fragrance. I was so excited. This is the first flush I've seen.

First Creamsickle Flush
Just beautiful Veronica. Just beautiful!!
Wow...your skirts drop much lower than mine (nothing personal, of course)....beautiful!
We've just finished our first flush of Creamsickle here and you won't have to stick your nose up close to her in a day or so, you will be able to smell the fragrance from 50 feet. I thought it smelled like Chanel 19, what's your description.
Doesn't she just make your heart sing!!!

WOW bettydee, that s amazing to see. I lost one of my creamsickles to rootrot this spring and the other is bouncing back well. I can only wish for a flush likd that this year.

Congrats ..that is so beautiful...mine is on its way to this...I Hope :)
I went out and looked to see if the flowers had turned peach, but so far, they are still cream colored. Even if they stay this color, I'm happy. I counted the open flowers — an even two dozen with more on the way!!! :-)
go back out and stick your nose in for me.
Thats just gorgeous.
Oh boy! I'm rooting myself a couple of cuttings I just got. Creamsickle looks so nice and is a lush bloomer. Next year is going to be great in my garden. We won't talk about this year, what with the attack of the rotten mites and all the humidity.

I bought Creamsickle late March this year. First flower or two turned peach. The flowers in this flush are still cream.
Judy, you are right about being able to smell them from a distance. I went out to feed the calf and was greeted by the fragrance. I've never smelled Chanel 19 so I can't compare the odor to it. It's different than the fragrance in Charles Grimaldi or my Shredded White.
Beautiful ....
