Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

I would love some scarlet bee balm seeds! I just read that they attract hummingbirds, and we have hummingbirds visit our house. I'm sure they'd appreciate them, too. :)

Springville, AL(Zone 7a)

Nanners1955...Sure I will gladly add all 3 for you!!

DANAK.... Sure, I will gladly send you some!! Is it just me or does it seem like the Hummers are moving early this year? My feeders are LOADED right now. It is almost dangerous to go to areas in the yard where feeders or flowers are...LOL

Dillonvale, OH(Zone 6a)

blckwolf, you're killing me !! I'm sending a new SASE tomorrow if you still have any!

Check out my trade list, too. I am not done, have only gotten to the R's. Still have S-Z, so if there is something you don't see let me know :)

WOOFENS...LOL, I'm sorry!!! I have more different seeds to give away...but they are not quite ready yet....and there are a bunch I need to figure out what they are so I can list them. So sad...I'm just an ole country girl...we don't do well with the long botanical names and stuff, so this is all new to me.

Can anyone help me out??? I believe this is a Hibiscus...it reseeds it's self and comes back every year....

Thank you! I just got the envelope ready to go out in tomorrow's mail. I really love having plants that attract wildlife. It will be a lot of fun to have a new one!

Springville, AL(Zone 7a)

I will get them out to you as soon as the envie arrives!! I am sure you and the butterflies and hummers will be thrilled with them!!!!

Chickamauga, GA(Zone 7a)

Blckwolf I am new to all of this so I wouldnt be too sure on how all this tradeing and stuff works. But I have some Blush Luna Hibiscus seeds I would be willing to trade for some of your Hibiscus in the above picture. I have about 20 seeds I am not sure how many you need to try and start a new plant from seeds though. Just let me know if you want to trade or if you still have seeds and would rather me just send a SASE.

Springville, AL(Zone 7a)

Gardening in GA....I would love to try a few of your seeds! Thanks so much for the offer, and I will gladly send you some of mine!!
I am new to this too...I have been gathering my seeds and Using a measuring spoon...1/4 teaspoon for the larger seeds and a 1/4 teaspoon for the small seeds. I am not real sure if this is the correct way to do it or not.
The great thing about seeds is if you can get them to sprout and grow...you will have your own seed source next year!LOL
Maybe 5 or 6 of your seeds??
Thanks so much for the offer!!!
Have a wonderful weekend

Any of you **OLD TIMERS** out there can give us **Green Horns** a hand with this?? nI know I would really appreciate any help you can offer us!!!

Hi -
How do you collects seeds of these plants?

I have a nice patch of lavendar colored bee balm. The flowers are done blooming, I havent deadheaded them, not sure if i am suppost to. Would like to collect the seeds and share too.

Thanks

Springville, AL(Zone 7a)

MODA127...I just cut the dead heads off as soon as they have turned brown and crisp....and put them on a paper towel and lay them in the window sill. When I get time I pull them apart and package them up. I make sure they are good and dry.
Hope this helps.
