Hey guys and gals!

My name is Emily and I'm a new subscriber - referred by shitzumom. I'm a newlywed and I live in Floyd, VA. My husband and I bought our first home just over a year ago and I've begun to get involved in this whole landscaping thing :)
This sight seems like a very informative one and has quite a few nice people from what I've seen so far :) I'm not sure what else to say except I'll see ya around the boards :)

Ya know, I don't know of any that I really don't like :)

I Love peonies, daylilies (of course), canna lillies and anything with a red tint to it (my husband is a volunteer firefighter so the color red rules our house, car color, clothing...well everything haha)

I like finding colors of plants that many people don't have around my part or something just a bit different. So far I have 5 peonies around the side of our house..my husband just rolls his eyes at those. He loves that I like plants etc now because it makes the house look great on the outside, but he thinks I have issues with peonies :)

I'll keep passing along things but if you watch this site every day, pick your forums like trading etc. you will find lots of wonderful people who want to help a young, new family out.
