I love the tendrils on this one.
Butterfly X Mountain Magic by Snowhermit (Terry)
That is beautiful.. very good picture...
Now that is some curls to really die for! So pretty!
Pretty and pink, you can't beat it.
WOW, that's a beauty. Love the tendrills.
It's a beauty!
That is one gorgeous brug.....I love that pink...Judy
Gracious!! More pictures from different angles please!!
Oh my!!! Beautiful!!
Bonnie
Nice tendrils! Does it smell like BF? What a cross.
What a beauty !! How does it smell?
Karen
Nice deep color and those wild and crazy tendrils ... luv it
Mary
Looks a lot like BF, but longer tendrils. Light scent.
Lovely,Delisa
wolf whistling from the peanut gallery!!
beautiful Delisa. Big flower too.
Donna I was comparing it to Butterfly today and looks so much like BF except longer tendrils and the calyx doesnt go as low as bf. Blooms only lasted a couple of days before wilting on the edge. It is in full sun though and a first bloom. Will probably be really pretty this fall. I would like to cross back to MM.
Does it have the fragrance of Butterfly? I had another visitor sniffing around the yard yesterday afternoon... pretty and that smells nice. Got to BF and she yelped!
Smelling them all tonight. BF has light fragrance here, MM none, BF X MM very light fragrance.
That's still strange to me how characteristics can change between locations. BF is a strong baby powder to me. Harlot is the other I have with a really strong fragrance and reminds me of koolaid.
Plus my sniffer could be not be working as well as yours.
It's pretty. The ones with those long tendrils remind me of daddy long leg spiders. :) Great job.
Pretty, and the tendrils are so nice and long. I hope it holds up through time,
Datdog, you stole my line. I was just getting ready to type the same thing when I read your post. LOL I think I'm the odd one out here, because I don't really like the long tendrils. I think the blooms are prettier without them. Does that make me strange?
The tendrils alone make her a "wants it" for me; And pedigree makes it a "must have!" for breeding! let's see, thats genes of of Rothkirch/Ochre tripled? + Ecuador; could throw versi or aurea traits, long tendrils, heavy blooming, heat resistance, yellow pink or near red...+ whatever is behind those wildforms.... WOW!!! Great going here Terry and Delisa!! :)
How many seedlings do you have of this cross? Any yellows?
Lovely pink color and great tendrils too!
LOL Sylvia, no not strange!! Though to me long tendrils are very girlie girl. Every eye forms its own beauty.
I have four seedlings of this one out of 5 or 6 seed. I shared the other half of the seed. This is the third one to bloom. If nothing else I will keep it to cross back to MM and or BF next spring.
She's very pretty Delisa, aren't we on a roll!
Congratulations Terry on a beautiful cross :-)

WOW!!! Delisa, she is sooooooo pretty!!! How does she like the heat/humidity?? What a treat to see these lovely new seedlings!!!
During this heat and humidity blooms only lasted two or three days.
Sounds great to me, I've had some that wilted as they opened, and this is only my second growing season...
Love those tendrils. how long are they?
Just wondering if you had more photos to share of this beauty, I love coming back here and looking at this one? Is it one that is considering being named or not?
Delisa, Another beauty!!!!
Laurrie asked: Is it one that is considering being named or not?
No I am not planning on naming it.
OK thanks Delisa, it's still pretty :)
