CLOSED: I'm Thinning Cannas Again!

Archer/Bronson, FL(Zone 8b)

I posted this over in the canna co-op thread and got no bites, so here we go!

I need to thin my cannas once again. The foliage on these are green. The blooms may be yellow, orange or orange/yellow. Don't think I have any greens with red flowers. You have to maintain a "grab bag" attitude.

I will be shipping them with most of the foliage cut off. I will not be wrapping any roots in wet anything. They will be wrapped in newspapers. This way they can be shipped in the heat without turning to soup. I will ship 2nd day priority which shouldn't be a problem for survival. You should immediately drop these in a bucket of water upon receipt for a good drink. Then plant them with the pointy white sprouts looking up.

I would just like to have postage paid through paypal. You let me know how many pounds you would like, figure shipping + 30 cents + 2.5% of that total for PayPal fees. My zip is 33315. You figure total to your zip.

I will do the click and ship so confirmation numbers are free. I plan to ship on Monday or Tuesday.

Please no international or over ocean requests. Continental United States only.

I probably will have between 10 and 12 pounds to share. Send me a D-mail with details and I will give you my Paypal address. Good luck.

If you have anything interesting to trade that will do good in my zone, tempt me in a private d-mail. I'm always open to new stuff, yall know that.

Hi Molly! I need cannas!!! :o) We had an unexpected freeze here late in the spring season in IN, and I lost about 1/2 of my cannas. I always keep my red planted seperate from the other colors (I don't know why), and all I'm left with are the red cannas. I'd love some of your colors! Can I get 2 lbs? According to ebay's shipping calculator, that would be $4.90 in shipping, plus .30 would be 5.20 plus 2.5% would come to $5.33 for the total. Does this sound right to you? I'm in the addy exchange. Let me know if this works out for you. Thanks! Jenny

May I please get 2# of your Canna. I am trying to fill over 300' of border! I am in IN and believe it should be $5.48 for shipping. I will try to send a d-mail to you as well to get the paypal address. I am new on this site and am not super familiar with how it all works yet. Thank you for your generous offer. I hope to be able to return the favor one day.

Did you get my paypal?

Archer/Bronson, FL(Zone 8b)

Nanners,
Yes, I did get your paypal. Thank you. Sorry I have been working a job out in the heat and it's beating me down for the past 2 days. I'm feeling a bit better, but will be in bed early again tonight.

Lakemom & Jenny-Tulip, I received your paypal too. Thank you.

Molly...man, have things been weird (at least in my mind HA!) for the last two days. I got my package, planted the rhizomes, mentioned it in the Coffee Break thread where I told you I'd D-mail after I closed that post...and promptly FORGOT to write it! LOL

Anyway, they're here...and now I can't wait to see them bloom next year!

Thank you bunches!
