Wow.... I love the yellow ones.... I wish there was a hardy yellow one that was that bright in color..... What do you do with your tropical hibisicus in the winter - I see you are a zone 5'er too...... ?

Hi vs and 2 pugs.......
Wow!! I didn't even know there was a hardy yellow one! I have white and pink and red hardy ones. I bring the others inside in the winter. I have a whole tropical garden I bring inside...lol! Bananas...brugs...variegated ficus tree...mexican bluebell...just all kinds of things. Can't hardly walk through my house in the winter!! Ohhh..and I have red and peach colored tropical hibiscus too! Hubby says...too many plants!!!

and do you say there's room for one more where you're standing if I have to choose......... LOL ...... just kidding .... my DH tells me the same thing...... but I can't help myself

vs I like that saying

Quoting:
and do you say there's room for one more where you're standing if I have to choose.........

I think the next time DH says anything about my plants I am going to quote that exact saying.

Marcy I have one that will be blooming in a day or two and I will take pictures of it. I just hope my camera will show the color correct.

I'll keep an eye out for the pics.......

Here is a picture of my hardy yellow. No it isn't as dark of a yellow as the tropical, it is more softer, but very pretty. I am sending a link also of another one I saw on here,
they is calling it a Lemon Slice.

Not for sure if that is the name of mine or not but I bet it is.

Wow Linda...what a pretty yellow! I may have to look for that one!
And vs....yours is very pretty also..but you are right..it doesn't look very yellow. Is it more yellow to see it in person?

Marcy_1..... No not really ..... looks white to me ..... if I hadn't bought it labeled from a nursery with a bunch of others that seem to be what they are labeled .... I wouldn't believe it was an "Old Yella".......... Linda has me beat on this one..... we can only hope she'll share seed with us

Someone will have to tell me how to collect seeds first. In fall cuttings may be better.
