That is very pretty. I have some gingers, but I have no idea which ones and they haven't bloomed yet. This will be my first year with them. I am looking forward to them very much. Have you had yours long?

Hi Janet,

Welcome to the world or gingers. I have had mine for about three years. They are just now getting to the point where I can trade them now. I just love them.

Eclipse,

I'm interested in both. Are you looking for other gingers? If so I can send you a list of what I have. Otherwise, if I have to pick I will take the variegated spiral ginger.

I have a Crepe ginger and its white flower is so delicate and pretty. i am learning to grow this plant by trial and error. the mites attacked it first then sun exposure problems but i think ive got the hang of it. i plan to divide the rhizome next summer.

brandandplantluva,

Good luck with your ginger...she's a beauty! I grow mine in full shade in a 5 gallon container.
