You know up here, the driveways are usually asphalt. I noticed that if I move the vehicles out of the driveway during the day, a dragonfly will take up position and fly the perimeter. End to end, back and forth or making perfect 90 degree turns at the corners and will seriously defend a 'No Fly' zone to about 20' feet above.
Have you ever seen this? It's so interesting to sit in the garage door and watch.
