Haven't had time to take many pictures lately and finally got around to it.
This is along my back walk. One of my favorite spots each year. It gets late afternoon sun and auto water 2x day.
I promise this is the last picture today.
that is to die for! what is the plant between lime zinger and nancyana? some kind of ginger? is this a shaded area? very very beautiful. I dream of having a favorite spot that will look like this
Barb your place is so beautiful. I can't wait to come visit
That is absolutely beautiful!!
*pinching self* what a beautiful setting.
Vossner, it is under a pecan tree and the right side gets late afternoon sun from west from about 2 o'clock on. Water is the key-since our soil is so sandy-doesn't hold water or nutrition. I give the plants a ton of water 2 x day and a lot of slow release fertilizer.
It is crammed with plants. The tall plant you asked about is a banana-non eating. I grow it for the foliage.
I love the way your plantings all blend. I can see why it is a favorite spot for you.
It is so beautiful!
Thanks everyone for the kind comments. As you can see-I like my plants crowded. My theory-if you have weeds, you don't have enough plants. Might as well grow plants instead of weeds. LOL Sometimes dh thinks weeds would be easier and cheaper. I don't seem to ever kill my weeds like I sometime do with my expensive plants. LOL
I have that same theory Barb, no dirt here. LOL
So can you leave out your lime zinger and nancyana in the winter?
Just lovely as usual!
Kell, Yes both are left in the ground. Thanks!
Very pretty!!
I have a little corner I am redoing. I had bought bromeliads for it but I may plant some big leaves. Your pics are such instigators. LOL
Great theory Bward--and great photo!! Can't wait to see the rest!! hehehe Bonnie
Beautiful pic!!
Love those ee's!!!!!!!!
Janet
