Yellow leaves, no blooms

Summerville, SC(Zone 8a)

I don't have alot of brugs right now, I lost alot I was wintersitting when my DH passed away in Feb. I am getting alot of yellow leaves and no blooms, can anyone offer any suggestions? I would appreciate any help. Something was eating leaves, I sprayed for that. I have fertilized, so am at a loss. God Bless, Carol (nancyjean)

Hi, are you giving enough water, they take a lot more than regular plants.

How much sun are your plants getting? I have some in full sun that have pale leaves. How often are you fertilizing?

Carol it is really great to see you back online. I was very sad to learn that your precious husband passed away. Having just come out of a long depression over the sudden loss of my own husband I know how hard it is for you. It is hard enough to take care of your own self. Brug maintenance kind of falls by the wayside.

I'll just betcha that if you hose your brugs down real good (just in case you have spider mites) , and repot in fresh soil they'll come alive. :) .... vicki

Thanks for all the help. I have a sprinkler system, so plants get enough water. I have fertilized about every two weeks. i have not repotted, but I will defnitely try that. The plants get morning sun, actually for about 8 hours. My back yard is pretty sunny. I do tho, have a privacy fence and it offers shade at times. i did not have this problem last year with same circumstances. God Bless, Carol

I hope it works for you :)

I have a card for you that has been sitting on my shelf since Feb. It is not lonely because it is joined by a card I got for Donna B. too. :) Sorry I never mailed it. They say it is the thought that counts. You are in my thoughts alot. ... v
