Here's my adopted-from-the-track Standardbred taking guests to a spectacular garden party held yesterday to benfit the North Country SPCA. Schroon Falls Farm put on a spectacular twilight party in their gardens, acres of tiny white lights and white tents scattered among the Japanese, Italian, daylily, shade an dpond gardens. I got to drive my surrey, meet all sorts of wonderful people, and totally enjoy the evening. It was the first time it occurred to me that my adopted horse could work to help the other pets out there needing homes. Some of my three cats and two dogs were adopted from NCSPCA....what a blast!!
