I've had chickens for seven years now but the latest batch has my
stumped. I got them from a kindergarten teacher who started them
for her class. They were supposed to be RI reds but I'm calling them
RI Whites .
So here's the dumb question - are these roosters or hens? They
were hatched the end of April so are about 3mo old now. I once
saw two with puffy neck feathers having a rooster-like stare off. But
generally NO sign of aggressive behavior. Are these roosters or hens?
