Another cheap hibiscus plant blooms...

This new plant bloomed today, large single flower, very pretty colors, will watch later on and see if cooler temps change the colors.

Beautiful colors.

Goes to show you don't have to be expensive to be beautiful.

I had another one bloom, it was a double yellow with white center.Seems like there will be about 5 different out of the 9 plants I got.Looks like two of them are this cultivar.

I believe I may have the "cheap" hybrid you have photographed at the top ... and mine does seem to display a number of color variations depending on temperature (and other factors I am sure I have no clue of)

Where'd you pick yours up?

a local garden center, they picked them up in Florida.

I just bought my first Hibiscus, a simple red Disco Belle and I am thrilled with it.


Found it on 'death row' at HD , just hoping the tag was right.

It bloomed in 3 days and I'd say it was well worth 2.50 .

Do we feel another addiction coming on ? lol
