I have a couple of Brugs that got healthy stems broken of during the storm two days ago, what is the best way to save them, in water till they get roots, or in dirt, one has two buds on.
Broken stems
I do either or both. In this heat and humidity, cuttings I've stuck carelessly in the shaded end of a flowerbed look better than any I've tried to carefully start in buckets or soil in the cooled green house. But I've noticed that some Brugs like water better than soil to get started, others want sand. The biggest deal on green cuttings is not to let the tops dry out or flop over.
