Looking for a double pink - anyone??

Dundee, OH(Zone 5b)

I am looking for a double pink, does anyone have one that they are willing to trade? or swap for something - anything? I have a double peach but it's really small yet, just thought I would get my post up here in case anyone was whacking away? LOL If you have a cutting, let me know what you are looking for and I might just have it
Thanks
Laurrie

Sorry I can't help you. I'm still one of the 90% looking for one. I do have a unknown double white rooted cutting you could have if you want, no trade needed. The mother plant was quite vibrant and put out big flushes.

Thank you for the offer Mary, I only have the double peach in doubles right now, wanted to really add a pretty double pink to my collection, please if Kareoke still would like yours, that would be great! I thank you for the offer but right now space only allows me a few more and I will keep my eyes out for a double pink (if I find one I will let you know too!!)

Laurrie, I have read on here that Shirley is sending out her double pinks to everyone. She has at least 2 kinds from last year. So maybe she will have an extra or will in the fall.

Sorry, but I am not sending mine out yet. I want to see how she does for me. I am concentrating on getting pods so there are even more double pinks for everyone. Mine is still on its first flush so she is still just a baby. And it looks like I have a pod for each bloom so far!! I am dying to see how big the pods get. I am only cutting side growth, so not much yet!

I know Delisa has some incredible double pinks also but I do not know if hers are released yet.

Hopefully by next summer they will be much more common. And if everyone gets pods from theirs, there hopefully will be a whole new crop of double pinks out there!!

They are such fun to have. I understand your wanting one! I bet you do not have to wait too long.

I was kinda thinking the same thing - that at least within a couple of years they will be much more common and start working their way around the Dave chain.

Even sooner Karrie if everyone gets tons of seeds. Then lots of people will have a chance to grow their very own. Now that is even more fun than getting a cutting! Think of the thrill of anticipation! And if you luck out, WOW!!

no kidding! space does not allow me to grow too many from seed, but a friend of mine is having her greenhouse trailered over (it's at her ex's) and she said I could play in it all I want, lol!

I am sorry. I have sent out at least twenty cuttings of one and lots of the others too. Right now I have pods on them and dont want to cut at this time. I sent out so many hopeing that those people will be able to share someday. I agree there will be many more by next year from this years seed.

Doris, email me your address. It might not get mailed until August 8th, as I'm pretty tied up next week.
