I purchased a lg bella upstate this spring. It put on new growth & for two months it bloomed repeatly (beautiful flowers). The last flowers were on just 10-14 days ago. Since that time the leaves have started to turn yellow. Dozens have fallen off & most disturbing I have noticed new growth turning yellow.
I water the bella more then most, with 1/2 MG ever 2-3 times & Superthrive usually inbetween.
Any opinions as to my problem would be appreciated.

I am no expert but I think the roots are dying for sum reason.I don't use MG on any of my plants, Keep watering it with superthrive and hope it will straighten up.My bella did this when we went on vacation and my son told me he missed watering it for three days and to me thats all it takes to start going down hill. You might want to take cuttings for if the plant does die you will still have part of it like I did...

That sure doesn't sound good. In my experience, once plant like H. bella starts to decline as you have described, it is really hard to save the plant. If you have any healthy part of the plant, try to get some cuttings. Next, remove the plant from the pot and see if you have any roots that are not rotted. If you do not see healthy roots, wash off all the soil and cut off rotten roots and keep cutting until you find live material. If you have any viable plant remaining, re-pot in to a loose well draining potting soil.
I sure can't say rotting roots is your problem, but, is sure sounds like it could be.
Yep, I killed mine too. I took some cuttings before it went completely down. I kept my cuttings in the house and they did better in the cooler temperatures.
I agree with everyone here. And...sometimes plants just croak...no reason we can see. It is really frustrating, especially since we are following all known advice!!! It IS so true that H. bella likes it cooler...
