Hello from Missouri

Hi everyone, Just subscribed a few minutes ago after looking around for a few day. WOW it sure is active here!
I'm Mary and I live in Missouri. About 5 miles west of 6 Flags. Been here for 20 years now. Married to a great guy for 27 years. We have 3 adult children. @ sons, Matthew, 26 and Eric, 21. Our Daughter is Melinda and she is 23. Our sons stilled live with us. Tried it on their own and could do it but they are both thinking of trying it again soon. Our daughter has been onwn her own for almost 3 years now. Looking forward to the empty nest. Have lot to do to keep busy.
We are big animal lovers and at this time we have 3 dogs. One is an Australian Shepard. She is 13 and her name is Taco. She's my baby. Then we have a Pekinese,she is around 6 and her name is Hendrix. She is Eric's baby and our *grandbaby*. Then our newest is part lab,Rott and Chow. Her name is Gali and she is Matthew baby and also our grandbaby. Our daughter has a black cat her name is Shin-Dyg. she is 6 and our grandbaby. They get treats and gifts on their b-day and holidays. SPOILED rotten...LOL
WE love to camp and hike and garden. Well I have bent your ear long enough. I have pics of us all if you would like to see my family.

Welcome, Mary! I'm new here too. Can't picture on my brainmap exactly where you are in MO, but I'm in SE Nebraska, so you're closer to me than a lot of folks. Probably nearly the same zone. This place is GREAT! I hope you enjoy it as much as I have in my first few days here.

Welcome from a former Show Me State gal! I grew up in Springfield, but have delightful memories of vacationing near St. Louis and going to Six Flags over Mid-America so I know exactly where you live. Well, sorta. *smile*

welcome Mary from up here on the wet coast. My eldest daughter ( of two) left home this spring and I was surprised how hard it was for me.

Wouldn't be sorry if she moved back, but she is happy and so I am for her.

I have three cats -- longhaired ginger, and lh black and my favourite shorthaired black --Cadastrel (daughter named) Also a chow, Tartuffe, who just said his name at you...uffe uffe.
