Yayhooo !

Finally convinced Number One that we need a Hupertufa Forum .. TY Dave ;-)

Hypertufa is an artificial stone made from various aggregates bonded together using Portland cement.

It is popular for making garden ornaments, pots and land forms.

Hypertufa is relatively light compared with Terra cotta or Concrete and can withstand harsh winters,

at least down to -30C (-20F).

Party at my house ! ! ! !

Now can I rest ?

Nope , didn't think so ..... lol

Congratulations on getting a forum. I have always wanted to do this because I have seen so many neat items and while it is work, it is the type of thing that I would find relaxing. Also thought it would be a great project to do with the grandkids.

I am off to search and place it on my list of forums. Maybe soon, I will have some extra time to start on a project.

Best way to start is get your area ready with the supplies you need ahead of time.

Then one day as you are leisurely strolling around the estate, near this chosen spot , you may hear a quite voice whisper ,

Hey good-lookin' .... wanna 'tufa ?

A new addiction begins .

I hope you get a chance to try it , it's very relaxing playing in da mudd.
