My daughter and some rubarb . Jagonjune set up a horse camp for 3 little girls at the farm and we had a very busy week. Jagonjune out did herself with all the activities and special treats with 3 horses having the honors in the afternoons. She picked some rubarb and we had fun with the leaves! Check out how big they are!!.

New use for rubarb
wow, huge leaves!
Are you sure they aren't gunnera ;) LOL
Wow, they are huge. That's a cute picture Ann.
Ann, your daughter is beautiful! I hope you have plans for Rhubarb Strawberry pie! If so, I may have to come for a visit! :D
Thankyou All
I Thought it was cute too.
Linda they are rubarb! Lynn can sure grow them. This patch has really good manure and is only a few years old. We were laughing that we don't need Gunnera at all if we have these leaves.
Donna , Lynn does use the rubarb for all sorts of things including deserts.
I would have loved to post the photo of all three girls but hadn't got permission from their parents. They had so much fun doing a fashion show. They were like princesses and didn't want to take them off.

Hi Ann,
I enjoyed the picture as well. And the leaves sure are large. I don't generally get them that big in Ottawa.
Your daughter is lovely.

Oh my gosh!! I look at those rhubarb leaves and think- wow-what great cement cast leaves they would make!!!

Me too! I have been thinking about trying one. The larger veins are very strong so will make a great impression. I hope to give them a try and let you see what happens.

That looks so fun, Ann. Now I have to go out and check how big my rhubarb leaves are. Not that I plan on wearing any.
Lovely looking daughter Ann and very healthy looking leaves. Ü
