What DID you FEEED this one? It is spectacular! I have never had lilies; I believe I don't have enough full sun, but just found very 'cheap' bulbs. I picked up a pack of 4 and it is Stargazer. I can't imagine I will have this beauty in my garden. I planted the bulbs yesterday. Any special care and attention you may suggest?

Gorgeous photo!

Watch out knees, you'll get hooked! Lilies are absolutely essential in a garden and they are very easy to grow. Just plant them and stand back... You should do fine if you have at least some sun on the plants during the day.

'Stargazer' is deservedly popular, oh that scent! You may want to try the white 'Casablanca' too which is a knockout.

Do post pics of your plants when they flower, and enjoy!

The bed featuring these lilies and others I hope to photograph this year contained yews (I don't know if the spelling is correct, but it is an evergreen) that are said to deplete soil of nutrients. We were told to add lime to the soil, and purchased regular top soil and manure mixed 1/2 and 1/2 to fill in the holes. Other than that 1 time feeding, we haven't done anything special. I think I purchased this as a plant, and it receives full sun most of the day. I just looked at the picture for the first time in a while and was suprised to see so many blooms on it too! I am glad you enjoy it knees. Thank you very much.

Never have seen so many blooms!

I have 2 plants and one of them is very tall this year...about 3 feet tall with 7 buds. It will look really pretty, but you have a regular debutante's bouquet in that picture!

Really, really amazingly beautiful!

The single blooming bulb has begun to show off. So vibrant!
