It was dad who was smitten by this girlie at the Muskingum County shelter last month. He walked over by her cage and she reached her paw out to him. That was about all it took, even if she wasn't a Bengal. ;)

She spent about the first week at home hiding on top of the furnace in the basement or in the crawl space adjacent to it. She'd sneak out at night, but never while they were around. Finally, dad blockaded the opening to it and they got her upstairs. The rest has gone well, thank goodness!

Tigger tries to play with her, but he's very rough. They're getting along much better as time goes on, though. She's a verrrry friendly lump-o-kitty:
