Eye Candy....The Trailers

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

Here's a few pics of some of my trailers and few others that have nice blooms.
I would not say they are perfectly grown but I like them:)

The first I think will be Rob's Humpty Doo, it is a blooming fool...

Enjoy!

Here's a cake dish with my Micro Mini's Rob's Twinkle Pink. They need a lil more light and I've moved them to a new stand so maybe I will see some improvement in the shape and form, a bloom might be nice too.lol

Alrighty, MsCritter--those are looking GREAT!! =)

Wow, those are GORGEOUS! I have a plantlet of 'Rob's Sticky Wicket' and a rooted leaf of 'Rob's Boolaroo', and I'll be delighted if they turn out to be half as showy as your 'Rob's Humpty Doo'!

Those 'Twinkle Pink' plants are just adorable! Is the one in the photo at about 10 o'clock a different variety? I thought I could see some variegation at the edges of the leaves, but maybe that's just the lighting.

Stick with your system for watering & fertilizing, because it's definitely working!!

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

Thanks ! I love my trailers best of all the AV's I keep.

CritterO the plantlet is a different variety...you have good eyes! LoL
It was "Petite Jewel" and it was sent to my MNL as Christmas present.

The covered cake dishes work so well for me when I do lil leaves and I am also using glass jars turned upside down to root some of the babies in...
I find it so much fun to try different methods of starting them. AV's are so willing to grow from leaves that it is almost fool proof.

ooooh those micro minis are impressive. sure some blooms would be nice, but wow!

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

Thanks Keyring!
I'm sure they could be grown outside of the humidity but they have been so happy ther I just learned to leave well enough alone.Kinda keeps my over watering hands awasy from it...lol

Fabulous! Thanks for sharing!

Do you have a name for the third down on the left (purple flower with white thumbprint)? I have a NOID that looks just like it!

I have a 'Rob's Bunny Hop', hoping it will be in bloom soon -- adorable, indeed!

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

CritterO,
I think the 3rd one down is my "Melodie Kimi" look a like..lol
It was purchased as a NOID... isn't it lovely!
My Rob's Bunny Hop is so perfect an easy keeper .It holds it's shape well and it's variegation. That saying alot in my house.:)

NOID = "no ID"

LOL!

MsC came up with this term, I think...

Thank you Critterologist.

Oh my, I feel really dumb now. LOL

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

MsC, the colors of 'Melodie Kimi' seem to vary in the photos I've found... that blue vs. violet distinction just doesn't come across well in digipics. How would you describe your lookalike? Mine is the violet purple of a wild wood violet, with a white thumbprint marking, just like your photo seems to show.

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

Haha... no I didn't think up the term No ID...lol
but I did coin the term "yankers & tossers"...plants that don't do well get "yanked or tossed in the trash! ":)

The M.Kimi is a little richer or darker purple than my photo shows but that is proable due to the growers conditions, when it reblooms I think like most, it will be lighter in color like yours, too. My monitor color scheme is a bit off so it's real hard for me to tell true colors of things.,too.
