This picture was taken July 22; late for new duckies. They must have been not long-hatched because they hadn't even learned to go for the bread I threw them. Bet they've figured that out by now. lol

Ü Lovely pic Joan Ü ........the library I work at is situated in a park with a serpentine. I love spending my coffee breaks watching the young ducklings.

That's a lovely picture Joan. I love to see little ducklings. When I was kayaking in the Octopus Islands I saw a number of mom Mergansers with little ducklings. I was never close enough to get a good picture though.
