Cinnamon ginger

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

ever hear of it? The leaves look a bit like small hedychiums or globbas at this point.. can't find anything about it on the net and was hoping someone here knows its botanical name.. TIA

It's called something else. I once posted this question, but I can't find it in my threads. Someone sent it to me once in a trade, it's growing in a pot in the greenhouse. And she told me the true name, Wish I could help, If you find the name, I'm gonna write it down too.
Cause when I looked up cinnamon ginger on the net, nothing came up for me either.

I don't know if it's anything like the alpinia nutans or the false cardemon ginger. With just leaves and no flowers. I think it is like them though. But don't quote me, Im sorry , i'm not much help, but i'm gonna watch this thread, for others to help.

Glad you posted it.

I've got one that smells like Cardamom...not Cinammon... You just brush the leaves and.....***************.

Yes, I have that one too, I t is diff from the cinnamon one. I think, I'll see if I can't take pictures of both of them today and post, Maybe they are the same plant, they look the same. I do hope we find out.
