I am trying to re-create my childhood home's garden... the estate was sold and it was so emotional that neither my sister nor I thought to dig up any of the flowers my folks worked so hard to cultivate...
"Gooseneck"... hundreds of tiny white flowers that grow in the shape of the head of a goose... grows tall, about 3-4 feet, and I THINK it re-seeds, not sure if it is perennial or seeding annual.
pink and yellow morning primrose...
evening primrose (yellow or any color)
"Love lies bleeding"...
a pink very fragrant violet "Love in a Mist"...
Lemon Balm
feverfew
Mount Hood daffodils
a pink daffodil we have no idea the name of it
I don't know if these are Mom's names for the plants or the real names for them... any help would be appreciated. We are currently renting the house where we live but I have started an herb garden and some flowers and when things go to seed I would be happy to save them...
Looking for Gooseneck plants or seeds
I've got gooseneck strife, I do know that they are deep rooted, so hard to transplant. If I can figure out how to collect the seed, I can send you some with sase. Perhaps there's someone out there that knows how to collect the seeds? Take care SOOOOZ.
Ok not to burst anyone's bubble, but gooseneck loosestrife is banned in many states.. I would check this before sending any.. it is very invasive

That is Purple Loosestrife that is banned in alot of states, not Gooseneck Loosestrife.
HI Debby
My mistake. People here also refer to the purple as gooseneck. That is the trouble with common names. Anyone interested see link http://www.ent.iastate.edu/ipm/hortnews/1991/6-19-1991/weedy.html
I will be more careful in answering too hastily. However this is an invasive plant. So I think I would pass on it I have my fair share of plants that spread too much. LOL

I would LOVE to have invasive goosenecks, I have a lot of problem areas that are begging for something I can't kill and that will edge out the crabgrass and quack grass next to the house (beside a euyonymous (can't spell it)...
and ...they remind me of mom.
Thanks so much... my email is ephe522@aol.com if you want me to send you my address and an sase when harvest time comes...
bless you,
Janie
