Man, yours are so big and pretty. Mine just will not grow and are all knarley looking. Is that a word - knarley? Well, that is how they look. Yours look so lush, and it has to be as hot in Texas as Mississippi. What is your secret?

Roz, yes, gnarley is a word, at least in the vossner lexicon and I know what you mean. This plant is in its third season. It was pretty gnarley looking last year but you'll see that it will straighten out in the next month. Pretty odd 'cause it looks like there's something wrong, right? I think that's just the way it does. This year it didn't behave that way. Just went straight to normal shape. planted in slightly moist area, and gets about 2-3 hours of am sun. I do nothing to it. dies back in winter.
