That's very cool to have photographed like that! It's quite amazing.. So what are all the goodies in there? The red starred leaf? Not castor bean is it.. Rj

And look at all that land beyond!! Do you live on a farm? What a beautiful setting.

This is a bed in the back of my much larger area. This particular bed started with a few and I've added as I go along...... it of course contains two nanas - which was the reason for the bed. A few Datura, Sum and Substance Hostas, Sweet Pot Vines, Asiatic lilly's, Purple Fountain Grass, Luna Hibiscus, Glads and of course one of my favorites - Yes Castors...... In the much larger area Castors, Hibiscus and more nana's

Of course I blame the on DG'ers for getting me hooked on tropicals, hosta, hibiscus, dats and all the others...... This area was a new area (The Project) this year so I took lots of pics for my garden journal (soon to be created - I hope) in order to get an even better start next season......

I do live on a farm kell, although I don't farm it I rent it out. I have 50 acres on a dead end road - I love it ...... but having been a DG'er for almost a year - which reminds me I better renew - I've already started to run out of room....... How many plants do you think I can get in that field behind the flower bed..... LOL

What fun for you to fill it all up!! You must have a huge GH to winter all those over.

Osage City, KS(Zone 5b)

Nope.... but I have a packed basement..... the dogs weren't very happy with me last winter...... it's always been their turf...... But I've picked up a few things on DG as I've gone along that I'm hoping help...... first one being I don't have to water them as much and a little neglect goes along way....

Come on over Bonnie...... lots of places to sit and hang out..... you'll have to dust off seats as they never get sat in ....... DH says you have all these places to sit but you never sit....... lol ......
