Enchanted + ?

Marysville, WA(Zone 7a)

CC, your enchanted does not suffer from a lack of flowers or fragrance. It would be nice if the triples would open all the way, but it doesn't look like that's in the cards. Still, the plant has a presence and is a pleasant addition to the deck. Has anyone else grown out any of the other seeds from that parent ?

Balvenie, is this the first blooms on this seedling? The next blooms may be better.

Yes. This is the first bloom from seed.It will be interesting to see if there is any difference in the next flowering.

Balvenie, I can also attest to the same thing happening to mine in the first flush...especially the double I have. It was the creamsickle's first flush, and actually they were crooked and I thought it may have been from all the rain we had had so much of at once not long ago for a long length at a time....but it's not flushing alot...and when it does even now the skirt inside doesn't look right...now I don't think it was the rain. I'm going to watch to see if I get any blooms that don't look defected. :-(

Hugs
Julie

P.S. I hope you get a beautiful flush in your next one, surely you will. :-)
