Kin sent this mystery rooted cutting along with a larger CG to me in April. They are my first brugs and will always be very special to me. Thank you, Kin :) And guess who Y'd first! The smaller one!

This poor little guy sat in full sun until about 2 weeks ago when I moved to an area with afternoon shade. The leaves are still a little light, but with some extra tlc, I bet the next leaves will be darker. Here's the entire plant.

Kin, here's the other one you sent me. No Y's yet, but I think it's getting quite close. I committed the sin of afternoon sun so maybe it will be happier now in a shadier spot. With this great weather, everyone is growing like crazy!

I stopped by Al's yesterday and bought some of that fert you recommened. I don't see magnesium in the ingredient list so I'll just feed epsom salts a couple of days later or foliar feed.

yes, I go out and check it daily. I have it in a protected spot so the wind will be kind to it.

Kin, the CG cutting you gave me finally bloomed at what a magnificent orange color it is! This bloom is far more darker than on my other two CG's.

Oh that is wonderful Emily! and I do love the CG, I had one I killed, will you be cutting back? I have some that I could take cuttings of this fall to swap if you are interested?

Beautiful Emily!
I have found that the blooms this time of year are a lot richer in color than during the hot summer months. Enjoy....
