Such a very nice pic. I don't blame you for wanting to see it. I gave up on water lilies, my Koi eat them all gone or torment them to death.

i only have one koi at the moment and he dosent touch them

you can put little rocks on them and they wont bother them much

This will be the last year that I do water lillies without some sort of training "cage" to give the leaf (and flower) stalks a fighting chance to make it to the surface. Even if they don't like the taste of a plant, that won't stop them from rummaging about the pot in search of some other tasty morsel. I could not *believe* the amount of gravel and aquatic soil that was along the bottom of my pond (cleverly hidden under the "deep end" which is covered by floating plants ... which they all seem perfectly disinclined to nibble upon.

LOL!!! I gave up on waterlilies too. I even got some duck weed for them to eat instead.........they didnt touch the duck weed!!!! I ended up scooping it out because I didnt like the way it looked.

I still love my fish tho!!

i should take some pics of the WL at my work (i work on the weekends at a water garden nursery lucky me!) we have so many diffrent kinds ill do that this weekend
