I grow plumerias myself and it takes patience..There is no magic way to get these babies to bloom...except waiting and giving them loving care...lol...

I'm thinking about buying one. The guy that owns the veg. stand sells them in a 1 gal. for $12. That's really cheap isn't it? I don't know anything about them the ones he has are yellow and smell delightful. Do you bring them in during winter?

shirley, yes definitely bring it in for winter.

txgardengeek, post your question in plumeria forum.

I don't grow plumerias, but my neighbor here in Arlington has two of them and she says the bloom every other year, may be next year will be the one for yours.
Good luck. Josephine.

Plumerias are soooo addicting! That's the only plant I deal with anymore that has to be babied thru the winter....everything else had better be tough enough to make it!
