Oooooohhh me too trois!!! I've love this plant for a long time now. But I've been told that I wouldn't be able to grow them in Oklahoma. Darn the luck! That is sooooo pretty! Thanks for sharing with us!

It is a striking plant. I will get one as soon as I can find a place to put it, and find one for sale.
You could grow it in a pot and take it in in the winter. We are about out of room for that also.

The plants are very easy to root from cuttings...if you can talk your daughter out of one. :-) I just planted M. palmata in my back area. I'd love to get one of these just to offset it.

Thanks. I wish I had known that last week. What part of the plant should the cutting come from?

It can be any one of the stems with leaves. Just pop it into some moist potting soil and set in a shady spot, keep it moist, and in a few weeks you should have some roots.

Thanks. That's on my list.
