This very pretty B x candida is a member of my Rubiline. Besides Rubirosa, I consider her to be one of the best out of this cross. Almost all double Pinks in the US, grown out of european seeds, have a Rubiline member as fatherplant.
Brugie's Happy-Day-seedling has also Rubiline in her genes.

I'm sure your garden is stunning, are you having your 'open house' again this year?
I am going to have a 'Open House' in from 6 - 20th of August but I am afraid, that people will see only a few blooms. It was frosty here 'til Mid-June.

I am afraid, that the Pinks will stick with you for a while. LOL! I have send too many seeds for Pinks in the past two years.
Nothing wrong with pinks. I have had yellows, white and orange for so many years, glad to see something else. Thank you for sharing with us.

She is lovely, Monika, and what I have come to expect in your elegant and sophisticated brugs!! Does she smell as good as she looks?? Pink, and all variations, will always turn my head, as well as Gardenias, maybe my all time fragrance favorite...

Kay, I do only a few crosses each year but all are carefully planned. The Rubiline was one of those planned crosses and so was the next generation, which has produced the double Pinks.
