you grow great brugs in what I thought would be too small of a pot!! Have you got an i.v. hooked up to each one drip feeding them?

LOL Blaine.

I always thought suaveolens had shorter corolla points (tendrils) than insignis.

Diane, look at this pic of Frosty Pink

http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1631962

has hardly any tendrils at all, whereas your insignis pink picture does have some tendrils, short but there are some.

Small differences, only noticed by the 'trained' eye. I still love Frosty Pink, I know there are lots of look alikes.

Diane, do all of the blooms on your suaveolens have 4 points?

Clinton, CT(Zone 6b)

Hi, Linda - well there ya go...I hadn't even noticed that the Pink Suaveolens had only 4 points where as Insignis Pink has 5. hmmm..it's dark now - but I will check out the rest of the blooms (there are several more gonna open tomorrow) on PS and see if they all have 4! There is a prime example of what the "trained eye" (yours) will see that the newbie (me) would not even think to look at!

Any idea which brug this is? I though it was frosty pink, but it has small tendrils and 5 points.

I think most blooms have 5 points. I was told that Frosty leaves have a wavy edge, so that may be what yours is if you received it as Frosty.

My Suaveolens this morning.

Hi, Linda - I went out and looked at my Pink Suaveolens tonight - and all the flowers out now have 5 points. So I guess it was just that 1 that had 4.

My original question was what is the difference between Insignis Pink and Pink Suaveolens if any? Or is just a look alike like Golfito and Isabella.

I think there are many 'look alikes'.
